Wolfspeed to File for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy "in the Near Future"

DURHAM, N.C.– Wolfspeed has announced that they will be filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the near future as part of a restructuring support agreement.

According to a statement sent to NEWSChannel 2, the company says the plan was entered into with key lenders.

They also say they plan to emerge by the end of the 3rd quarter of this year.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente reacted to the news of a possible bankruptcy filing by Wolfspeed in the coming weeks.
