Trump’s Deportations to South Sudan Are More Twisted Than They Seem

Halle Bailey and DDG have been romantically connected for over three years. Since going public back in 2022, the former couple have inspired each other musically and share one child.

However, earlier this month, the singer-actress filed a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend— accusing him of physical, emotional, verbal, and financial abuse.

“Throughout our relationship, Daryl [Dwayne Granberry Jr.] has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me. I am seeking orders to protect myself and our son Halo from his ongoing abuse.” In the filing, she included photo evidence of the physical abuse including a chipped tooth that was the result of a physical altercation between Bailey and Granberry from January 2025.

The Little Mermaid star also claimed that the streamer uses YouTube and Twitch to pit his followers against her. “Whenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts bad mouthing me to his several millions of fans. He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media,” Bailey explained.

On Tuesday (May 13), a judge granted Bailey’s request for a restraining order to protect herself and 17-month-old Halo until a June 6 hearing, per Associated Press.

In light of the ongoing legalities, take a look back on Halle and DDG’s relationship below.
