Purandeswari commits to spreading awareness on terrorism threat

BJP State president and Rajamahendravaram MP Daggubati Purandeswari, member of a delegation of MPs led by Ravi Shankar Prasad tasked with apprising the international community of India’s stand on terrorism, said she was committed to spreading awareness on the menace. The delegation left for Paris on Sunday (May 25).

In a press release, she said the threat posed by Pakistan-sponsored terrorism has been a persistent challenge for decades and it was crucial for the international community to understand its gravity.

The objective of the diplomatic mission is to highlight the difficulties faced by India because of terrorism. Ms. Purandeswari said the delegation was aimed at highlighting the need for global support and action to combat terrorism, and that India was no longer willing to tolerate terrorism under any circumstances.

The delegation has been mandated to visit France, the U.K., Italy, Denmark and Germany. They will highlight the terrorist attack at Pahalgam, Operation Sindoor and the issue of terrorism in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
