Public Safety Officials Recognized in Closing Murder Case

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Three Oregon consumers represented by OJC Law, P.C., partners of Oregon Consumer Justice, have brought a class-action lawsuit against Grocery Outlet and operators of numerous locations throughout Oregon over what they allege is deceptive pricing.

The complaint (which you can review below) demands equitable relief and a jury trial, citing violations under the Unlawful Trade Practices Act.

The focus of these alleged violations is the “widespread and coordinated scheme by Grocery Outlet Inc. and its affiliated Oregon operators to mislead consumers through the use of fictitious ‘elsewhere’ pricing,” according to the document.

Claire Elmer is investigating the issue and has reached out to local stores named in the suit, as well as the consumers’ legal representatives and the Better Business Bureau for comment. Her full report will air on KTVZ News at 5:00 p.m.
