A 28-year-old woman has died in Sacramento County after being stabbed by her former boyfriend outside her place of work on Thursday, police said. According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, officers responded around 10:15 a.m. to a report of a woman brought by family to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Station on Greenback Lane with multiple stab wounds. Fire crews rendered her emergency medical aid and transported her to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.Police identified the suspect as 30-year-old Kyron Kamar Mason, who was the victim’s former boyfriend. He showed up at the victim’s place of work on Thursday morning and stabbed her multiple times while she was inside a vehicle in front of the workplace, the police department said.Police said they were withholding the location of where the stabbing happened.The 28-year-old woman had recently gotten a restraining order against Mason, who has “an extensive domestic violence history” and has restraining orders against him protecting multiple other victims, officials said.Mason had several previous domestic violence arrests in Sacramento County with other victims, police said. He turned himself in at the Sacramento County main jail after the stabbing.
