Man accused of distributing fentanyl-laced crystal meth to dealers at Miami-Dade motels

OPA-LOOKA, FLA. – A 51-year-old man stands accused of distributing fentanyl-laced crystal meth to dealers at motels in Hialeah and Opa-Locka.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement identified the suspect as Jayram Ruiz Roche after arresting him on Wednesday

Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office inmate records showed deputies held Ruiz Roche at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Friday night.

Ruiz Roche faced charges of trafficking amphetamine between 28 and 200 grams, trafficking amphetamine between 14 and 28 grams, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell. He had a hold for immigration.

The FDLE also worked with the Hialeah, Medley, Doral, Miami, Sweetwater, and Florida International University police departments.
