Four Arrested after Drug Trafficking Investigation in Maine

Four people were arrested and drugs and firearms were seizedafter a search warrant was executed in Brooks.

Search Warrant

The Maine State Police and the Waldo County Sheriff’s Officeserved the warrant at 23 Gardner Drive on Wednesday.

Investigation Identified the Source of Drug Trafficking

The search was part of a months-long drug trafficking investigation. The residence was identified as the source of fentanyl and cocaine in the area.

Guns and Drugs Seized

Police seized multiple firearms, a significant quantity of cash, approximately 87 grams of fentanyl powder, 5 grams of crack cocaine, and illegally possessed prescription drugs.

Four Arrested and Charged

Four people were arrested including 21-year-old Nature Gordon from Brooklyn, New York who was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking.

Also taken into custody was 38-year-old Ian Freeman and 39-year-old Jamie Freeman from Brooks who were both charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.

The fourth arrest was 38-year-old Joseph Hills from Brooks who was charged with Unlawful Drug Possession.

All four were taken to the Waldo County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
