Nigerians have had different encounters with the Nigeria Police – some positive, some negative. Some real, some perceived! From prolonged detention to harassment, extortion, use of excessive force, etc., many citizens have turned to social media to voice their frustrations. While these online conversations underscore the urgency of enhanced police accountability and transparency, they often leave one question unanswered: Who polices the police?
