SALEM — A 32-year-old New Hampshire man was indicted by the Rockingham Grand Jury on Friday for drug trafficking in Salem.
According to New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella, Jose Beltre Castro accumulated a slew of charges related to the possession and sale of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine in February and March.
He was charged with the sale of a controlled drug for allegedly selling quantities of fentanyl in excess of five grams, methamphetamine in excess of five grams and cocaine in excess of five grams on Feb. 3.
He also faces two counts of sale of a controlled drug for selling quantities of methamphetamine in excess of five ounces on Feb. 14 and March 13, respectively; and three counts of possession with intent to sell a controlled drug on March 20.
Each of the offenses is punishable by up to 30 years in state prison, a $500,000 fine, or both.
