Bowdoin College Faces Civil Rights Complaint Alleging Discrimination Based on Sex, and Race in Scholarships

Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Branhaven data breach.

As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.

Branhaven Motors Inc., which operates the Branhaven Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Branford, Connecticut, has reported a data breach involving unauthorized access to its computer systems between September 9 and September 10, 2024.

Upon detecting the breach, Branhaven Motors contained the situation and engaged cybersecurity experts for an investigation.Following a forensic investigation,it was determined in April 2025 that personal information may have been present in affected systems. Specifically, names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or state ID numbers, financial account details, payment card numbers, and health information may have been compromised, though exposed data varies by individual.

Branhaven began notifying potentially affected individuals on May 20, 2025 using available contact information.

According to a report submitted to the Maine Attorney General’s Officethe Branhaven Motors data breach affected 11,774 individuals.
