BCN3D files for bankruptcy amid ongoing financial troubles

As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.

The Cooper Health System has revealed a data breach that potentially compromised personal and health information of certain current and former patients. The incident was initially detected in May 2024 when Cooper noticed unusual network activity, leading the South Jersey health care network to secure its systems and enlist cybersecurity experts for an investigation.

By March 2025, the investigation concluded that unauthorized access and acquisition of certain data had occurred in the Cooper Health System data breachinvolving sensitive information such as names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, health insurance details, treatment and medical history information, and medical record numbers.

A notice provided to the Maine Attorney General’s Office indicates that the Cooper University Health Care data breach impacted 57,412 people.

Apart from its hospitals, Cooper Health operates a cancer center, urgent care centers, and over 130 outpatient offices across the region.

If your information was exposed in the data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
