Manhunt Underway for Dad of 3 Missing Daughters Found Dead in Washington State

DETROIT (WWJ) — One person is in custody after a pair of drug raids this week in Detroit.

According to Michigan State Police, the investigation started with a drug trafficking complaint out of the neighboring suburb of Roseville.

On Wednesday, the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) executed two search warrants in Detroit in connection with the complaint, and a man was arrested.

In total, MSP said detectives seized 72 grams of fentanyl, 9 grams of crack cocaine, some amount of methamphetamine, three guns, a Taser, and body armor.

Police said the suspect is a convicted felon, which includes a conviction for second-degree murder. He was taken to the Detroit Detention Center to await an arraignment on new charges. His name has not yet been released.

COMET was assisted in this operation by MSP’s Second District Headquarters, the Metro South Post and the Multijurisdictional Narcotics Task Forces (MNET).
