“Polisario–Iran: The Secrets of Terrorism from Tehran to Tindouf”

In Rabat, Algerian writer-journalist Anouar Malek unveiled a deeply revealing and alarming investigation with the release of his new book: “Polisario–Iran: The Secrets of Terrorism from Tehran to Tindouf.” This explosive work explores the covert ties between the Polisario Front, Iran, and Hezbollah, exposing how Tehran weaponizes separatism to project power across the Maghreb and the Sahel.

According to Malek, this alliance is neither ideological nor incidental—it is a deliberate strategy of chaos, driven by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah operatives. The book unveils disturbing revelations: training camps, arms transfers, and ideological indoctrination of Polisario members by pro-Iranian cells—turning Tindouf into a staging ground for the Tehran–Beirut–Africa axis.

Malek warns of the major geopolitical risks posed by such infiltration in a region already plagued by terrorism, ethnic conflict, and chronic instability. He cautions against the naivety of viewing separatist slogans as pure liberation movements—some are mere covers for proxy warfare and terror exportation.

This is a wake-up call to policymakers and a plea for a strategic counteroffensive against the Tindouf–Tehran connection that threatens Africa’s sovereignty and security. As a former Arab League observer in Syria, Malek emerges as a bold and documented dissident voice against ideological manipulation and destabilizing regional agendas.

A must-read to understand how separatism, in some cases, becomes the façade for foreign-sponsored subversion and insurgency.
