A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Kettering Health after last month’s cyberattack and data breach.The attack, which was believed to be caused by ransomware, limited the network’s ability to access certain patient care systems across the organization.The lawsuit was filed by a law firm in Montgomery County Court.Kettering Health said its patients now have limited access to MyChart and that all surgeries have resumed, including scheduling for elective procedures.Patients should be able to see upcoming appointments, schedule new appointments, view prescriptions and test results, order refills and message their providers.The days and weeks following the cyberattack caused disruptions to some of Kettering Health’s services. The network’s call center also experienced an outage.Kettering Health said it does not comment on pending litigation.
